Amnon Biss is a partner at Gornitzky & Co.

Amnon’s main legal practice area is restructuring and insolvency. Amnon handles complex insolvency cases including representation of creditors in distressed companies, debtor companies and their executive management.

Amnon is well experienced in debt settlements in litigation cases as well as out of court proceedings, and engages in Israeli as well as international complex restructuring cases.

Additionally, Amnon represents clients in complex litigation cases in the field of corporate and securities, including representing clients in court, arbitration, dispute resolution procedures, shareholders claims, minority oppression and proceedings according to the Israeli securities act. In addition, Amnon is involved in the firm’s banking and finance practice, in which he engages in the drafting of various financing agreements, representing both borrowers and lenders.

Amnon is included in the Israeli Courts list of trustees, and he’s thus appointed as a trustee and a receiver in various bankruptcy and restructuring cases.

Amnon’s experience includes representation of clients in the following matters:

·  representation of the secured bondholders of All Year Holdings Limited;

·  representation of Bank Hapoalim in the insolvency proceedings of Fishman and Eurocom case;

·  representation of Nitsba in the debt settlement of Tel Aviv Central Bus Station;

·  representation of Delek Group in the debt settlement with several banks that were its creditors;

·  representation of the Committee of Unsecured Creditors of Celsius which filed for chapter 11, inter alia, in the sale transaction of Celsius’ Israeli subsidiary, GK8;

·  representation of  the secured creditors of Amos Spacecom, the Israeli satellite company, that are secured by Amos 3, 4, and 17 satellites, in negotiation to reach a restructuring plan.
