Ms. Werker-Sagy has served as an associate at Gornitzky & Co. since 1995 and became a partner in 2006.
Sharon Werker-Sagy heads the firm’s Domestic Securities practice. Ms. Werker-Sagy specializes in preliminary and secondary rounds of financing in Israel, and regularly advises public companies on securities and corporate law.
Ms. Werker-Sagy has represented multi-national companies, such as Strauss Group Ltd. (a food and beverage corporation with business dealings in North America, Europe, Brazil and China, in addition to Israel), in their public and large-scale offerings on the TASE, as well as foreign companies, (e.g. Elad Canada Inc., a Canadian entity, in their recent IPO and bonds offering).
Sharon has dealt with numerous private placements in the institutional market, which vary from classic securitization deals to complex capital funding transactions, such as the reorganization of NIS 1 billion of debt of Elad National Properties LLC (a US entity, represented by securitized bonds listed for trade on the TACT).
Ms. Werker-Sagy provides ongoing services to a wide variety of public companies. Her representation includes the preparation of tender offers and advice with respect to related party transactions and immediate reports.
Sharon heads of the firm's weekly securities forum and as part of this, oversees the publishing of the firm's monthly newsletter relating to new securities regulations and Israeli Securities Authority guidelines.
