Administrative Law

Gornitzky & Co. provides legal services across a wide array of administrative issues. Our lawyers skillfully contend with the increasing administrative and regulatory challenges facing our clients in their interactions with government boards, commissions, associations, licensing authorities, professional disciplinary boards, universities and the like.

Members of our Administrative Law team specialize in the representation of individuals and businesses from a wide variety of sectors, including claimants, defendants and third parties. We counsel our clients with regard to all regulatory matters, including applications for regulatory permits and approvals, advice related to public tenders and the representation of clients in disputes involving government agencies and public committees.

Our experience in legislative and regulatory proceedings ranges from administrative regulations to issues of financing, planning and construction, environmental law, media and telecommunications, BOT legislations, antitrust, public sector projects, insurance, tax, licensing, infrastructure, corporate and securities regulations, as well as health care regulation and licensing.

The firm has an extensive litigation practice in the area of administrative law, preeminently with regard to tender regulations and constitutional appeals for the annulment of regulations and laws on behalf of its clients. Gornitzky represents clients throughout all stages of a tender offer, inclusive of administrative appeals and petitions on behalf of the client for the examination of the validity of the tender committees' various decisions. These services often entail negotiations with agency officials, obtaining permits and licenses, representation at agency hearings and litigation in high profile administrative appeals before various judicial bodies.

Members of our Administrative Law team have comprehensive knowledge of the intricate workings of government institutions and are often involved in advising on proposed legislation. Our lawyers have advised the Israeli government in public tenders relating to large public infrastructure projects and participate in the official discussions of various parliamentary (Knesset) committees. Additionally, several of our lawyers have previously served in the public sector.
