Fattal – Litigation

Our firm represented Fattal Hotels in a case that began with a contract claim brought against it by a tourism company in the Magistrate’s Court. Following the ruling, the tourism company appealed, and Fattal filed a cross-appeal. This week, the case was heard by the Tel Aviv District Court, and after hearing the parties, the court opined that Fattal’s cross-appeal should be upheld and that the tourism company’s appeal dismissed, taking the unusual step of revisiting the factual findings. Following the court’s proposal, the parties agreed that the cross-appeal would be partly upheld, that half of the amount Fattal had paid under the initial ruling would be returned to it, and that the tourism company’s appeal would be dismissed.
