Prior to joining Gornitzky GNY Yonatan was a partner in a leading high-tech law firm.
Yonatan assists and advises clients with their corporate lifecycle and commercial and technology transactions. Yonatan negotiates IP license agreements and agreements with customers, academic and medical institutions, manufacturers, suppliers, and channel partners. Yonatan represents venture capital funds and strategic investors in their investments and loans. Yonatan also advises Israeli companies as well as foreign companies and law firms with respect to regulatory issues focusing on technology, drug development and registration, privacy and artificial intelligence and telecommunications.
Yonatan began his professional journey in the IDF Military Advocate General (MAG) HQ, where he served in several key roles for 12 years. As part of his service, Yonatan established and led the MAG contract practice, and served as legal counsel to the Technology and Logistics Command. In his role as a Major in the International Law Department, Yonatan was entrusted with overseeing the legal aspects of the IDF’s cooperation with the US armed forces and other international partners such as the UN and peacekeeping forces, as well as providing strategic advice to senior leadership.
