Our firm represented OPC Group in a High Court of Justice petition

Our firm represented OPC Group in a petition before the Supreme Court (sitting as the High Court of Justice) challenging the government’s decision not to approve the construction of a power plant adjacent to OPC’s existing power plant near Hadera. In light of the arguments presented in the petition, the Supreme Court recommended that the government reconsider its decision. On August 10, 2025, following a further hearing, the Israeli Government decided to approve the plant’s construction – which all relevant professional bodies had deemed necessary and crucial for the electricity sector – thereby achieving the objective of the petition.
