Our firm represented Cement Factories Har Tuv in a strategic three-way transaction with Ashtrom Energy and Mega Or for the construction of a power plant with a capacity of 800-900 megawatts in the Beit Shemesh area. The deal includes the establishment of an equal-share partnership, unique arrangements for site management and corporate governance, and financing arrangements throughout the life of the project. The project, estimated at NIS 4-5 billion, will be based on H-class gas technology – currently the most advanced – and is expected to connect to the grid in the next decade.
