Shiran has joined Gornitzky’s antitrust and competition practice as a partner, after more than a decade in one of Israel’s top firms in competition law.
Shiran has extensive experience in advising Israeli and international companies on all aspects of antitrust and competition law, including cartels, mergers, and various issues pertaining to abuse of dominance by a monopoly. Her work also includes counsel on issues such as joint ventures, distribution and manufacturing agreements, R&D, investment and acquisition agreements, and many others.
She also represents clients in various proceedings, with considerable experience in hearings before the ICC, appeals before the Competition Tribunal, and courtroom litigation proceedings pertaining to antitrust and competition.
For many years, Shiran has been creating and implementing internal antitrust compliance programs, providing ongoing support for corporations in their implementation.
Shiran also advises clients on issues pertaining to the Food and Pharma Sectors Competition Promotion Law, 5974-2014, and the Law for Promotion of Competition and Reduction of Concentration, 5973-2013, both enforced by the ICC.
For the past several years, Shiran has been named in the Legal 500 international guide as one of Israel’s highly recommended competition lawyers, and has also earned the prestigious Next Generation Partner ranking for her practice.
