Our firm represented a company in an application for temporary relief filed against it in court by a distributor, alleging distributor-importer-manufacturer relations, after a previous application had been withdrawn. In the application, the distributor sought, among other things, to prevent the company from continuing its distribution activities and from engaging alternative distributors. Following the court’s recommendation, the parties reached a settlement agreement, the application for temporary relief was dismissed and the distributor undertook not to file any additional applications for temporary relief during the pendency of the main proceedings.
