Maya Katz joined Gornitzky GNY as a Senior Associate in 2025.
Maya joined the firm’s International Arbitration team. Maya has extensive experience representing Israeli and international clients in complex legal proceedings, with particular specialization in commercial litigation, international arbitration, media law, and defamation.
Before joining the firm, Maya served for seven years as an Academic Reserve Officer in the Military Advocate General’s Corps, most of them as a military criminal defense attorney. She then worked for four years as a Senior Associate at Lieblich-Moser-Gluck Law, where she practiced civil litigation and specialized in defamation, intellectual property, and media law.
Maya specializes in resolving complex international disputes, representing and advising clients in arbitration proceedings conducted before leading arbitral institutions. This includes representing major construction, infrastructure, and project companies in transatlantic disputes against international corporations.
In addition, Maya has expertise in advising and representing clients in criminal and military proceedings, as well as in compliance.
