Yaad Gordon started out at Gornitzky as a legal intern, joined the firm as an associate in 2014 and appointed as a Partner in 2024.
Yaad’s main field of expertise is complex commercial litigation in the various courts, including in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
Adv. Gordon has extensive experience in complex litigation cases, and particularly in legal proceedings in projects in the construction sector (residential and infrastructure), including, claims for payment for the performance of construction works (contractual consideration/additional works), payment/fines in respect of delayed or late delivery, extension of the project performance period, unsuitability of the object of sale, building defects of the various kinds, compensation in respect of the late delivery of a residential apartment or offices under the Sale Law, compensation in respect of impairment of value due to defects and/or nuisances in the property, providing legal support to the performance of projects at the time of the construction works, and many more.

- Representation of some of Israel’s largest and leading construction companies, which are taking part in the construction of large-scale projects in the security industry, in various disputes with the client who ordered the work, in a scope of hundreds of millions of shekels.
- Representation of one of Israel’s largest and leading development companies in the residential construction sector, in various disputes with tenants and representative committees of apartment building residents in a scope of tens of millions of shekels, including regarding matters such as the late delivery of apartments, building defects, impairment of value, etc.
- Representation of municipalities and economic companies in disputes with the contractors performing infrastructure projects for them, in scopes of tens of millions of shekels.
- Representation of leading construction and development companies in legal disputes in projects in the solar energy industry.
- Representation of representative committees and tenants’ committees in disputes with contractors in claims in scopes of tens of millions of shekels.
