Gila Ponte-Shlush is a partner at Gornitzky & Co.
Gila’s practice focuses on Banking and Finance and Private Funds. Gila represents foreign and local financial institutions in cross-border syndicated, bilateral, primary and secondary financings, with a particular emphasize on acquisition finance. Gila also advises on regulatory matters concerning Israeli non-Banking Financial Institutions.
On the Private Funds’ side, Gila advises founders and managers on a range of matters relating to fund formation. She also advises various types of investors on their fund investments in Israel and abroad.
Gila also provides ongoing legal advice to corporations on all legal aspects of their commercial international operation.
Before joining the firm, Gila spent nearly three years in London, during which she pursued her Master of Laws (with Merit) and qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales. Gila also worked in the Financial Services and Commercial Dispute Resolution departments in the London office of Berwin Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. Prior to that, Gila was an associate at another leading Israeli law firm and served as a legal intern at Gornitzky & Co.
