Our firm represented Triumph International in a claim for NIS 14 million, which was filed against it with the Tel Aviv District Court by the lingerie chain, Afrodita. The claim was filed on the grounds of “abuse of a monopolistic position,” including discrimination and excessive pricing, and it was supported by an opinion of Professor David Gilo, former Director-General of the Israel Antitrust Authority.
At the hearing that was held yesterday with respect to the Plaintiff’s motion for interim relief, the motion and the claim were withdrawn at the court’s recommendation (while Triumph’s right was reserved to file a future claim against Afrodita), and court costs were awarded in favor of Triumph.
Triumph International was represented by the partners Avner Finkelstein and Orly Tenennbaum, together with senior associate Yechiel Zipori and associate Netta Oyerbach.
