Our firm is representing the Israel Hotel Association in its appeal to the Supreme Court regarding the issue of “unfair pricing” with respect to the royalties charged by the Israeli Federation of the Phonographic Industry.

Our firm is representing the Israel Hotel Association in its appeal to the Supreme Court against the judgment of the Tel Aviv District Court in the matter of the Israeli Federation of the Phonographic Industry. In the appeal, the Israel Hotel Association is claiming that the Federation, which is a declared monopoly, charges  “unfair prices” (excessive prices), pursuant to the Economic Competition Law.

The Supreme Court is expected to rule–for the first time–on the matter of excessive prices, and all its multiple aspects.  This is taking place within the context of class actions that have been filed with respect to the pricing of Coca-Cola and the pricing of Tnuva’s cottage cheese.

The Israel Hotel Association is represented by Managing Partner Kfir Yadgar  and Partner Avner Finkelshtein, who leads the firm’s antitrust and competition practice, together with Associate Inbar Boiangio.
