Our firm represented the Wexner Foundation in a petition to the Supreme Court filed by the Israeli NGO Im Tirtzu (“If you Will it”) against it and against the Minister of Justice and the Civil Service Commission regarding the engagement of the Wexner Foundation and regarding the alleged “illegality” of the participation of civil serveants in the Foundation’s program for graduate studies at Harvard University.
The High Court of Justice dismissed the petition and accepted the position of the Wexner Foundation, criticizing the Im Tirtzu standing as a public petitioner, and order it to pay expenses in favor of the respondents.
The Wexner Foundation was represented by the Firm Chairman Pinhas Rubin, together with Partner Timor Belan and Associate Liron Karass.
