The most significant merger in recent years in the cellular market has been completed

Our firm represented Golan Telecom, Electra Consumer Products (1970) and Mr. Gil Sharon in a transaction for the sale of all of the shares of Golan Telecom to Cellcom. The consideration in the transaction (together with a dividend that was distributed a few days before the completion of the transaction) amounts to approximately NIS 648 million.
Our firm has been providing legal services to Golan Telecom and its shareholders since 2017, when it was acquired by Electra, and also in the previous year, in the company’s attempt (which, at that time, was not completed) to merge with Cellcom.
