Our firm represented Urbanix LRT in the dismissal of an administrative petition to disqualify Urbanix's bids in a tender estimated at tens of billions of NIS for the planning and construction of the two light-rail lines.

Our firm represented Urbanix TRT (of which Shikun & Binui is one of the shareholders) in the dismissal of an administrative petition filed in the Tel Aviv District Court, sitting as an Administrative Court, to disqualify Urbanix’s bids in a tender estimated at tens of billions of NIS for the planning and construction of the two light-rail lines.

The arguments of the petitioner, the Shapir Group, were based on the intention to file indictments (subject to a hearing) against companies from the Shikun & Binui Group, as well as on the basis of an argument that Urbanix does not meet the financial threshold conditions of the tender.
In a reasoned ruling, the court dismissed the petition in its entirety and ordered the petitioner to pay legal costs.

Urbanix was represented by Partners Ofer Tzur and Itzchak Lazar, together with Senior Associate Daniel Barlev, Associate Liron Karass and intern Linoy Avishay.
