Our office represented Japanauto, the importer of Subaru, in dismissing a request for the approval of a class action suit (in which the plaintiffs claimed “damages” in the amount of NIS 300 million). After evidentiary hearings, the court accepted Japanauto’s position that (in addition to other things) the consumption of engine oil in Subaru vehicles is normal, and decided to dismiss the approval request.
