Our firm successfully provided legal support to the Jtrain consortium, whose members include two of our clients, the construction company Danya Cebus and the public transport company Dan, in a long and extensive proceeding with regard to Jtrain’s compliance with the terms and conditions of a tender for the financing, operating, construction, maintenance and transfer of the Blue Line that forms part of the Jerusalem Light Rail project (LRT).
This is one of the most complex infrastructure tenders on the greatest scale ever to have been published in the State of Israel, with a financial scope estimated in billions of shekels. Once the proceeding had come to an end, and after the Tender Committee had been satisfied, the Jtrain consortium was announced as the winner of the tender.
